Roster fields and access

The roster pages throughout your website can be publicly viewable or may require some higher level of access.

Most organizations leave roster pages publicly available but require higher level access to view most of the information on the profiles.

If you wish to restrict visibility to the roster page overall, contact SquadFusion Support to enable that.

To control fields displayed on the roster page and on the profile, do the following:

  1. For what to show on the main roster page, go to Processing Options > Roster Settings. You can opt to show photos or not.
  2. For the fields to show when someone clicks on a player, go to Personalization > Custom Fields and Standard Fields. For each field, there's a list of the roles (including Public). By checking or unchecking the Can View and Can Update columns, you control what people see and what they can update.

Note that you set a field as a Roster Field in Processing Options, anyone with access to the roster will see it. In other words, the Personalization fields will not be checked on the main roster page. The Personalization only controls field visibility when drilling into a specific participant's profile.
