Many administrators wish to export squad lists (rosters, class lists, etc.). For the most efficient exports, follow these steps.
1. Export your list from the Participants report.
2. Set your export definition to reflect the fields you wish to export. Information on export definitions can be found in the article Change what gets exported from reports.
3. If the squads you care about are the only ones published, set the export definition to include assignments only from published squads. If that is not the case, see steps 4 and 5.
4. If the squads you care about are not published, set the export definition to include all assignments and skip to step 6.
5. If the participants you care about are on published squads you don't care about and don't want in the export, see step 6.
6. Optionally add a filter from the Organization Properties. If you do not, the export will show all the squad assignments which meet your other criteria. For example, if you filter for a specific set of registrations, the export will get the correct people, but will include all squad assignments instead of just the ones you want.
