There are a number of conditions which must be in place in order to enter results. See the Prerequisites section below.
If the prerequisites are all met, there will be either an action or button called Enter Results which you can press. (The exact format depends on how you get to the event and whether you are using a computer or mobile device.)
There is a checkbox to signify there are no more results to enter. This will not actually prevent anyone from making changes or adding new results. Rather, it is a field used for report queries, to help administrators confirm all expected results have been entered.
Prerequisites
Scores and results are associated with events.
Not all types of events need scores or results. And not all events which do have scores and results require the exact same type of results.
SquadFusion allows you to tailor what you track to the specific type of event, instead of forcing you to use a one-size-fits-all approach.
In order to enter scores and other results, the event type must be set up to accept them.
Note: setting up event types requires administrator access. Depending on your website role, you may not have the functions below available to you.
Manage event types in the Scheduling menu.
- Result Tracking should be set to Squad.
- There are dedicated checkboxes to record wins/losses and overall score.
- You can specify other types of results to be entered as well. Before a result type can be added to an event type, it must be created in the Results Types page, also in the Scheduling menu.
- Whoever will update the results must be allowed to Update events of this type, defined in the Roles section. Or they must be an overall website administrator.
The other prerequisite to entering scores and results is that the event must be for today or earlier. If the event is today, the start time must be earlier than the current time.
